"Steel prop" is a general term for adjustable vertical support tubes. "Acrow prop" usually refers to props following British or Australian design standards with a threaded inner tube and fine adjustment collar. We manufacture both types and can match the standard required by your project.

What is the maximum load capacity of your steel props?

Standard sizes are available from one 20-foot container. Production time is usually 15–25 days after order confirmation, depending on quantity and finish. We ship from Tianjin port to destinations worldwide by sea, rail or air according to your schedule.

A steel prop is an adjustable telescopic column used to support formwork, beams and slabs during concrete construction. The inner tube slides inside the outer tube and is locked with a pin and collar, giving fast, precise height adjustment from roughly half to full extended length.

What is the difference between light duty and heavy duty props?

Light duty props (typically 48 mm and 60 mm tube) support 10-30 kN and suit residential and low-rise slab work. Heavy duty props (76 mm tube and above) support 30-80 kN and are used for heavy beam and bridge falsework. How long does a galvanized steel prop last?
