SINO EAST SCAFFOLDING GROUP manufactures a complete range of forged and pressed scaffolding couplers for tube & clamp systems. EN74, BS1139 & AS1576 compliant. Drop-forged and stamped steel fittings for construction, shoring, and formwork applications worldwide.
The half coupler (also called single coupler) is designed to connect a transom or ledger tube to a standard at a right angle using a single jaw. Manufactured from drop-forged steel with a high-tensile T-bolt, our half couplers deliver reliable load transfer for board-bearing transoms in tube & clamp scaffolding systems.
Our scaffold clamp is a right-angle (double) coupler that joins two tubes at 90 degrees, forming the primary load-bearing connection in tube & clamp scaffolding. The drop-forged construction provides superior resistance to slip and distortion under load, making it ideal for structural scaffolding, shoring towers, and heavy-duty access platforms.
Pressed scaffolding clamps offer an economical solution for standard-loading scaffold connections. Formed from high-quality steel plate through precision stamping, these couplers are lighter in weight while still meeting EN74 Class A slip and crack load requirements. An excellent choice for general access scaffolding and rental fleets where cost efficiency matters.
Beyond half couplers and clamps, SINO EAST manufactures the full spectrum of scaffolding fittings to cover every connection requirement on your project. From swivel couplers for angled braces to sleeve couplers for end-to-end tube joints, each fitting is engineered to international standards and quality-tested before dispatch.

Every coupler leaving our factory is built to perform under real job-site conditions. Here is what sets SINO EAST couplers apart from the rest.
Drop-forged bodies deliver higher tensile strength and impact resistance than pressed alternatives, ensuring reliable performance under heavy loads and repeated use cycles.
Manufactured and tested to EN74, BS1139, and AS1576. Each batch undergoes slip resistance, crack load, and distortion testing in our in-house laboratory.
Electro-galvanized and hot-dip galvanized options protect against rust in marine, industrial, and outdoor environments, extending service life and rental ROI.
Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a snug fit on 48.3mm tubes. Consistent jaw alignment means faster assembly and fewer rejected fittings on site.
Buying direct from our 50,000 m² Tianjin factory eliminates middleman markups. Competitive unit pricing on bulk and container orders.
Experience exporting to 50+ countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Full export documentation and door-to-door logistics.
Tube & clamp scaffolding built with our couplers serves diverse construction and industrial applications worldwide.
Access scaffolding for facades, masonry, and painting on residential and commercial buildings.
Maintenance and turnaround scaffolding for refineries, power plants, and chemical facilities.
Shoring and formwork support for bridges, viaducts, and civil engineering works.
Temporary structures, stages, and grandstands for concerts, exhibitions, and events.
From raw steel to certified finished product — a controlled four-stage process ensures consistent quality on every batch.
Steel billets are heated and drop-forged, or plates are precision-stamped, to form coupler bodies with the required structural integrity.
Hinge bolts, T-bolts, and nuts are machined to spec. Components are assembled with calibrated torque to ensure proper jaw alignment.
Couplers are electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection, then inspected for coating uniformity and adhesion.
Each batch undergoes slip resistance and crack load testing to EN74. Approved couplers are packed and palletized for export shipment.
Answers to the most common questions about our scaffolding couplers, standards, and ordering process.
Our scaffolding couplers are manufactured and tested in compliance with EN74 (European scaffolding coupler standard), BS1139 (British standard for metal scaffolding), and AS1576 (Australian scaffold standard). Each batch undergoes slip resistance and crack load testing in our in-house laboratory.
Forged couplers are made from a single billet of steel heated and shaped under pressure, offering superior strength and toughness for heavy-duty applications. Pressed couplers are formed from steel plate through stamping, providing a cost-effective solution for standard loading. Both types meet EN74 Class A or Class B requirements.
Our standard couplers fit 48.3mm outer diameter tubes (the most common scaffolding tube size worldwide). We also supply couplers for 48mm, 60mm, and custom diameters upon request. Tube wall thickness typically ranges from 3.2mm to 4.0mm.
Yes. We offer custom branding including embossed logos, trademark stamping, and color-coded marking on coupler bodies. Minimum order quantities apply for custom branding. Contact our sales team with your branding requirements.
We offer electro-galvanized (zinc plating), hot-dip galvanized, painted, and plain (oiled) finishes. Hot-dip galvanizing provides the best corrosion resistance for outdoor and marine environments. Electro-galvanized is economical for indoor or temporary use.
Minimum order quantity is typically 1,000 pieces per coupler type. Lead time is 15-25 days depending on order volume and finish requirements. For stock items, shipment can be arranged within 7 days. Contact us for a precise quote and delivery schedule.
