This British-type drop forged double coupler connects two 48.3mm scaffolding tubes at a 90° right angle. It is the most essential fitting in any tube-and-coupler scaffolding system — used to join ledgers to standards, transoms to ledgers, and to create the main load-bearing frame of the scaffold.
Manufactured from Q235 structural steel with drop forging process for superior strength and durability. Each coupler is tested to EN74 Class B standards with a typical slip load of 6.25 kN at 54 Nm tightening torque.
